Certificate Distribution and Lead Capturing Solutions – CSI Projects started with Vintage.

CIBL has signed a contract with Vintage IT Ltd for a Canadian Securities Institue Inc. (CSI) project. Technically an exclusive integration and reporting application which integrates few existing applications developed in java using oracle as backend. The development environment is based on apache, tomcat, eclipse, yahoo ui libraries, terracota clusters, birt - java open source reporting tool plus some sql stored procedure developed using pl sql against oracle. In addition there are interfaces, extracts and data feeds to ms sql database. Also to create reporting solution with dashboards, exclusive drill down charts, graphs & reports.

Basel-II based cost-effective IT engine for Bangladesh – CIBL’s next move.

CIBL deployed beta 1 of CRISL Splint at CRISL Intranet, UAT in progress.

On January 18, 2009, CIBL’s Splint Team successfully deployed the beta 1 release of the application CRISL Splint – developed for Credit Rating Information and Services Ltd (CRISL). CRISL Splint is an exclusive web application that automates CRISL’s extensive package of advanced financial analysis on corporate credit rating process in an industrial sector basis. This application is a highly secured one with a pre-defined RBAC implemented.

The project team was mentored by Muhammad Mahbub Hussain, with a technical team of four (4) developers led by Ariful Ambia (Noman). The three (3) member team of Business Analysts for this project was led by Mr. Lutful Kabir, the Assistant Vice President of CRISL. The major technology/methodology used during the development of CRISL Splint are as follows:

CIBL has delivered its first ever custom application project – CRISLWiz v1.0

On November 23, 2008, CIBL successfully handed over CRISLWiz v1.0 - the first ever custom application development project for Credit Rating Information and Services Limited (CRISL) - the first ever joint venture credit rating agency operating in Bangladesh since 1995. CRISL is a joint venture of Malaysia Berhad (RAM), JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company of Pakistan, few financial institutions and a host of celebrated professionals of Bangladesh.

CRISLWiz is an exclusive web application deployed in CRISL Intranet for internal use of CRISL officers and management. This application basically is the heart of CRISL’s information management and reporting services. This application interacts to all CRISL databases to incorporate necessary information required for proper accomplishment of day to day operation of CRISL’s executives and management. The concept of CRISLWiz was initiated in April, 2008 by CRISL CEO Muzaffar Ahmed. Later on, CIBL and CRISL signed a contract for the development of this application in June 01, 2008. It took almost over five (5) months for the CIBL custom application development team to complete the development and three cycles of testing.

The project team was mentored by Muhammad Mahbub Hussain, with a technical team of five (5) developers led by Ariful Ambia (Noman). The CRISL team assigned for this project was led by the Strategic Manager of CRISL, Nusrat Amina Ahmed. The major technology/methodology strokes for building CRISLWiz were around the following platforms:

Later on, CRISL CEO Muzaffar Ahmed joined the meeting and observed the high level demonstration of CRISLWiz and highly appreciated both the CRISL and CIBL team’s dedication and since effort in producing this comprehensive tool which according to him will become the heart of CRISL’s efficient operation in no time at all.
